About the Project
Progreso Renovation – Phase II continued the rehabilitation of the historic Progreso Building at 1300 Guadalupe Street, a cornerstone of San Antonio’s cultural corridor and home to the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center. This phase involved the interior renovation and adaptive reuse of first-floor gallery, archive, and support spaces, blending restoration of original masonry, clay tile, and concrete elements with modern building systems and life-safety upgrades. Selective demolition and structural infill were executed with care to preserve the building’s historic character while enhancing functionality for contemporary use. The project reflects our commitment to craftsmanship, thoughtfully balancing preservation, precision, and long-term performance within a culturally significant landmark.
