Newly Restored Courtroom Unveiling:
Pugh Constructors, Inc. restored the 73rd and 131st Bexar County District Courtrooms to their 1926 historic appearance. Countless historic finishes were restored to both courtrooms including returning the ceilings to their 13 foot heights, installing cork floors in the original checkerboard pattern, replacement and cleaning of the Romanesque glass, and restoration of the ornamental plaster ceilings and moldings. The renovation includes meticulous attention to returning the courtroom to its original early-20th century décor while outfitting it with state-of-the-art computerized video and audio equipment that brings it to the forefront of modern courtrooms nationwide.
